EU agriculture ministers are not generally renowned as being over-sensitive creatures, if it were not that their discussions at last month's Informal Farm Council in Ireland--on the bring under rule of the CAP's international image (see AE2105, 14504 EP3)--clearly revealed something of a sore flaw among those responsible for the evolution of Europe's greatest in number expensive common policy.
The ministers, l by way of the Irish Presidency, discussed ways in which the perception of the CAP outside of Europe could be improved.
